The design of this site is a balance between history and the future, preserving the original structure while incorporating new contemporary elements into the architecture. A space filled with sand and lighting around the lift symbolizes the "design features of the building growing out of the ground in this place", whilst the internal greenery represents the reconstruction and reinvention of the architecture.
